Electromagnetic coil configurations generating rotational and translational gradients to steer helical microrobots through human vasculature.
SurgiSwarm utilizes eight orthogonal electromagnetic coils surrounding the patient operating table. By modulating current phase and amplitude, the system projects rotating magnetic fields (up to 150 mT at 60 Hz), driving corkscrew micro-propellers forward against blood flow.
Pulling forces are generated by non-uniform magnetic gradients (up to 4 T/m). Real-time field modeling dynamically compensates for biological tissue permeability and distance attenuation.
